Frequently asked questions
I'm not really a "in front of the camera" type person, will this still be okay?
Honestly, most people aren't, and you don't need to be. My whole approach is built around catching the in between; I won't ask you to pose stiffly or stare down the lens (unless that's what you're after!). We'll just spend some time together, you'll be with your people, and I'll quietly work around you.
Do you travel for photoshoots outside of Port Macquarie?
Absolutely! I love exploring new locations and I'm happy to travel beyond Port Macquarie! Travel within 15kms of Port Mac is included, A small travel fee of $1 per kilometre will be added to your package outside of that.
Can I customise a photography package to fit all my needs?
Of course! Every family, every story and every occasion is different. Get in touch with me and we can chat about what works for you!
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
You'll receive a 24 hour sneak peek for a few of the images, because I know the wait is the hardest part! Your full gallery will be delivered anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the season (delivery details will be discussed on the day of the shoot). I promise they'll be worth the wait!

What if my baby has had a hard day, or my toddler isn't having it?
Then we'll roll with it! I've got a little one of my own, the days don't always go to plan. Some of my favourite images come from the chaos; the soothing, the snacking, the wriggling. We don't need to chase smiles, real is better!
I'm postpartum and don't really feel like myself. Should I wait?
Honestly, you don't have to. Your body doesn't feel like yours right now, the tiredness, the wondering if you're evenready, but these early days don't come back. We can move slowly, take breaks, work around feeds and naps, and let the focus be on the love between you and your baby rather than how you think you look. You'll be so glad you have these one day.
Will you share our photos on social media or your website?
All images remain under the copyright of Chloe Geyer, and I reserve the right to use them for promotional purposes, however, only with your okay. Before I post anything from your gallery, I'll check with you first and respect your privacy.
What if I need to reschedule or it rains?
Life happens. If you need to move your date, just give me as much notice as you can and I'll do my best to find another time that works. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within a 7 day period from the shoot.
For weather setbacks: we'll keep an eye on the weather forecast ahead of time and make the call a day or two out. An overcast sky actually makes for great images but a full blown stormy day will mean we'll reschedule, no stress.
